Just got my first New 3DS XL! : r/3DS
Double checking if my new 3ds xl consoles have TN or IPS screens. Boyfriend thinks black one (Hylian gold edition) has top IPS, I highly doubt my luck on getting an IPS. :
I still can't believe the small New Nintendo 3DS didn't launch with the XL model in NA. They're hard to find, so I imported a Japanese model and changed the region! :

Finally managed to buy a 3DS that actually fits my hands and feels comfortable to use. The XL is a beast. Almost twice the size of my normal 3DS. Feels good. :
